چکیده

Urea as a source of cheap non-protein nitrogen is used to adulterate fish and meat meals which are basic components broiler diets. The present study was carried out elucidate the effects urea on weight gain, hematological biochemical profiles. A total 48 chicks were randomly allotted into 4 groups, designated Groups 1, 2, 3 12 birds each. Birds in fed diets containing at levels 1%, 2.5% 4%, respectively. Group 1 served control not exposed urea. Experimentation period for weeks experiment terminated when 42 days age. Body all intoxicated various intervals significantly decreased comparison with that untreated control. Compared control, broilers manifested significant (P ≤ 0.05) decrease parameters involving erythrocytic leucocytic counts, Hemoglobin (Hb) Packed Cell Volume (PCV) dose- time-pattern. In levels, profile disclosed blood glucose level increase serum uric acid, urea, Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH) levels. Based upon data, it concluded addition bears serious sequences concerning general health condition, performance,

Effect of Ochratoxin A on Body Weight, Feed Intake and Feed Conversion in Broiler Chicken

The effect of ochratoxin A (OA) on the body weight, feed intake, and feed conversion was investigated in broiler chicken fed dietary levels of OA at 0, 1, and 2 ppm for 28 days from hatch. Feeding OA significantly reduced the growth rate of broiler chicken. The reduction was observed from the first week onwards in OA-treated groups. Feed consumption and feed conversion also showed a diminishing...

Comparison of Different selenium Sources on Performance, Serum Attributes and Cellular Immunity in Broiler Chickens

The effects of organic and inorganic sources and concentration (0 and 0.3 mg per kg of diet) of Selenium (Se) on growth performance, blood biochemical and immune system were evaluated in broiler chickens. Chickens were fed corn-soy-based diets formulated to 8 dietary treatments containing no added Se (negative control), negative control plus yeast (positive control), and 6 diets had 0.3 mg/kg o...
